Do not point the pressure hose toward yourself or
other people or animals. Pressurized air can cause
serious injury.
h)
Do not cut off the compressed air supply by crushing
or kinking the pressure hoses.
i)
When starting to operate the unit, gradually increase
the air supply to the unit to make sure it is working
properly. If you notice that the unit is not working
properly, immediately disconnect it from the
compressed air supply and contact the manufacturer's
service department.

additional elements protecting the operator, there
is still a slight risk of accident or injury when using
the device. Stay alert and use common sense when
using the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The product is designed to measure the pressure
(compression) in the cylinders of compression-ignition-
engines/Diesels.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.
3.1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
ATTENTION! This product's view can be found on the
last pages of the operating instructions (pp. 30).

3.2. PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces - do not touch
the moving parts of the engine. The place of work of the
device should provide immediate access to the valve that
releases accumulated compressed air. Make sure that the
pressure of the air supply to the unit does not exceed the
recommended range.
3.3. WORKING WITH THE DEVICE
1)
The engine should be cool.
2)
Make sure that the vehicle's starter battery is
operational and charged.
3)
Check the engine oil level.
4)
Deactivate the fuel pump (e.g. by pulling its fuse).
5)
Start the engine briefly to burn out the fuel remaining
in the fuel system (after a short time the engine will
turn off automatically).
6)
Wait until the engine cools down and, if necessary,
remove one glow plug or the injector and install a
specific adapter in its place, maintaining the tightening
torque recommended by the manufacturer.
7)
Connect the pressure gauge to the tip of the adapter
through the pneumatic quick coupler at their ends.
8)
The needle on the pressure gauge should read "0" -
if it is not, release the pressure by pressing the valve
located on the indicator fitting to the hose.
9)
Make sure that the gauge is connected to the motor
tightly (air is not escaping anywhere).
10)
Spin the engine starter, i.e. as if trying to start the
engine (the engine will not start because it will not
get fuel), and spin it until the pointer on the pressure
gauge stops rising.
11)
The value indicated on the pressure gauge is the
value of the compression pressure on the measured
cylinder - write it down somewhere before resetting
the pressure gauge.
