Positioning and assembling
Before you start assembling the system, please
take some time to consider carefully about the
best position for the individual components so
that the best possible sound is created.
Concertos
®
Acoustimass
module
The Acoustimass
®
module (AM) can generally be
placed anywhere in the room, as the low frequen-
cies are evenly distributed. As the module has to
be connected to the TV set, it is advised that you
place it on the floor close to the TV .
N.B.: Please remember when considering a posi-
tion for the module that it requires a 230 volt
power supply for operation.
Satellite speakers
You have three options when considering where
to position the speakers (SL) in the room. You can
• mount them, e.g. on furniture,
• secure them to the wall or
• mount them onto special Loewe stands that are
available in specialist shops (Loewe article no.
61250 B00).
N.B.: Only use the speakers with the Concertos
Acoustimass
®
module. Connecting them up to
other equipment may cause damage and will ren-
der any claims under guarantee void.
To achieve the best possible sound, the speakers
should be spread out evenly within the room.
Two should be used as front speakers to the left
and right of the TV set at as equal a distance as
possible, two others should be used as surround
speakers at the same distance either behind or to
the side of the position in the room where the
best sound should be created (e.g. the couch you
sit on when watching TV).
The centre speaker is not needed with the Con-
certos 2 speaker system, as the speaker in the
Loewe TV is used as the centre speaker. Concer-
tos 2 can only be used with certain Loewe TV
sets. If you want to use a fifth satellite speaker as
a centre speaker, then this would be best positio-
ned either in the middle above the TV set or
below it.
You can mount both rear speakers to the wall
with the wall mounts (WH) supplied. Both front
speakers should be elevated, e.g. on furniture or
on the stands available in specialist shops.

All speakers should be placed at ear height, i.e.
approx. 1 metre above the floor.
N.B.: the length of the cables supplied (K1 and
K2, 15 and 6 metres) is sufficient so that the spea-
kers can be placed anywhere in normal sized
rooms. Should the cable length not be sufficient
then simply contact your specialist.

positioning of all components.
