Setting high and low
The basic high and low settings can be tweaked
with the Acoustimass
®
module. To do this, first
remove the shrouding cover from the back. With
the knobs for treble and bass you can determine
the high and low playback settings.
Organising the speakers
The satellite speakers (SL) each have an upper
and lower section that can be turned against
each other. This means the sound emission from
each individual speaker in the room can be alte-
red so the system is best suited to and most flexi-
ble for conditions in the room.
The lower section of each satellite speaker should
always be organised in a way that the sound is
emitted in the direction where the best surround
sound can be produced, like perhaps the couch
where you sit to watch TV.
The upper section can be turned more to or away
from the wall to vary the direction and intensity
of the sound playback from each individual spea-
ker.
It is advised that you take a some time when it is
quiet to try different settings until you have found
those which best suit your expectations.
Both surround speakers that you have mounted
on the wall can be tilted downwards. For
example, this should be carried out if the wall
speakers have not been mounted at ear height.
To do this, using the adjusting key (JS), loosen
both hexagon bolts with which the mounting
flange is screwed to the bottom of the wall
mount at both sides.
Now insert the short end of the key into the screw
and loosen it. Use the long end of the key to loo-
sen the screw further.
Once you have obtained the desired angle, tigh-
ten the screws again following the instructions
given above in reverse.
