7. CHANGE FILTER

Remove condensation filter
Condensation filters
This filter separates fat particles from the cooking fumes due to its close-meshed filter
mesh. Please note that filters are wear parts and must be replaced every 5 years,
depending on their purpose.
Fire hazard! Greasy residues impair the performance of the cooker hood and increase
the risk of fire. To prevent a fire hazard, the condensation filter must be cleaned regu-
larly. The condensation filter must be cleaned every two weeks at the latest.

Filter removal

a 1.) Open the lower stainless steel flap by reaching into the suction opening with both
hands and pressing the stainless steel flap downwards to reach for the opening
grease filter on the handle strip at the edge of the metal filter and pull downwards until
the magnetic contact is released. Remove the metal filter from the bottom and clean it.
After cleaning, install the filter in reverse order.
b 2.) Press the upper glass centrally with your hand on the glass and it will release
from the lock and the glass including the filter pull-out can be pulled out to the front.
Now hold the metal filter by the buttons and pull it downwards until the magnetic
contact is released. Remove the metal filter from the bottom and clean it. After
cleaning, install the filter in reverse order.
