GB | Wireless Thermometer
The wireless thermometer measures indoor and outdoor temperature.
Technical parameters
Thermal range:
indoor temperature (IN) 0 °C to 60 °C
outdoor temperature (OUT) -40 °C to 60 °C
Measurement precision: ±1 °C
Thermal resolution: 0.1 °C
Wireless sensor range: 100 m in free space.
Power supply:
Thermometer 2× 1.5 V AAA
Wireless sensor 2× 1.5 V AAA
Installing the battery
Thermometer
1. Remove the battery cover on the rear side of the thermometer.
2. Insert two 1.5 V AAA type batteries. Follow the polarity as indicated on the bottom of the battery
compartment. Use alkali batteries only. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Sensor
1. Use a gentle push to remove the battery cover on the rear side of the sensor.
2. Insert two 1.5 V AAA type batteries. Follow the polarity as indicated on the bottom of the battery
compartment. Use alkali batteries only. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Commissioning
Insert the batteries in the thermometer first, in the wireless sensor later.
Within 1 minute the thermometer will be matched to the sensor and the outdoor temperate meas-
urement will be displayed.
Indoor and outdoor temperature
1. Outdoor temperature is shown in the upper half of the display in the OUT field.
2. Indoor temperature is shown in the lower half of the display in the IN field.
If the thermometer does not display the data from the outdoor sensor, check the following:
• Distance of the thermometer or sensor from interfering elements such as computer screens or
television sets. The distance should be at least 2 meters.
• If the thermometer or sensor are not near metal objects and frames (e.g. window frames).
• If the thermometer function is not affected by other appliances operating on a similar frequency
(wireless headset, wireless window blind controls, remote garage door control etc.) or wireless
equipment used in the vicinity.
We recommend placing the sensor on the northern side of the house. In built-up areas the sensor
range may decrease rapidly.
The sensor is resistant to dripping water, but do not subject it to recurrent influence of rain. Do not
put the sensor on metal objects. It would shorten its broadcast range.
Care and maintenance
The product is designed so that with proper use it can serve reliably for many years. There are several
guidelines for correct operation:
• Before you start using the product, read the user manual carefully.
• Do not put the product in direct sunlight, extreme cold or moisture and sudden temperature
change. It would lower the measurement accuracy.
• Do not put the product in locations prone to vibrations and shocks – it could damage the product.
