Installation of electronic control unit
Identify the electronic control unit
(Fig. 1, part. 1).
• The Malossi Digital Electronic Coil
is aesthetically very similar to the
original unit facilitating installation.
• Remove the electronic coil
taking care to extract the original
connectors without damaging them
and thoroughly clean them.
• Assembly Malossi electronic coil
respecting the original positioning
and cables.
• Check that all connections have been
properly made.
• The TPS CALIBRATION procedure
must be carried out.
NB: In the absence of this procedure,
the vehicle will not start and the Check
Engine light will flash
Carry out the TPS CALIBRATION using
the Check Engine light as a reference.
Check that throttle is set to the
minimum value (completely closed)
and turn the key to the ON position:
the indicator light flashes.
Now turn the key to the OFF position,
then turn the key from ON to OFF
three times, stopping in ON. The
"check engine" light should flash.
