F. HIGH BACK COMFORT FLAT-PAN SEAT
1. Seat Fore/Aft Adjustability (Highback Comfort Seat)
(Figure 12)
a. Unscrew four bolts (C) underneath the seat that attach the seat to the seat frame.
b. Adjust forward or backward to desired position.
c. Tighten all four bolts.
Always replace the safety lock-out pin to prevent inadvertent release of the seat.
2. Hanger Adapter (Optional)
(Figure 13)
a. Insert hanger adapter into seat frame interface.
b. Tighten thumb screw knob.
G. SWING-AWAY FOOTRESTS
1. Installation
(Figure 14)
a. Place swing-away pivot pin (A) into the locating hole (B) on top of the hanger
mount with the footrest facing outward from frame.
b. Rotate the footrest inward until latch plate locks into place on locking bolt.
2. Removal
(Figure 15)
a. To remove footrest, press quick-release lever (C).
b. Rotate footrest outward and lift.
3. Height Adjustment
(Figure 15)
a. Loosen the bolts (D) in the hanger frame tube and the clamp.
b. Reposition footrest height.
c. Re-tighten bolts.
Avoid opening doors with footplate or legrests. Damage or injury may result.
H. ELEVATING LEGREST (OPTIONAL)
(Figure 16)
1. Installation
To install or remove Elevating Legrest (ELR) see instructions for Swing-away Footrest instal-
lation above.
2. Adjustment
a. To raise legrest, lift to desired position. Legrest will automatically lock in place.
b. To lower legrest, while seated in chair, first lift slightly, then press release lever (E)
up and lower legrest to desired position.
