INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
b. To mount the Traction boot to the Teletrac key, ensure that the ball joint lock
is locked. Place the boot superior to the key and lower so that the key
engages the opening in the quick disconnect mount (Fig 12A). Lower until an
audible click is heard; the boot will be locked to the key. The boot may be
removed by pressing on the white release button on the bottom of the quick
disconnect mount while lifting the boot (Fig 12B).
Clinical Use:
Patient Prep Table:
A Patient Prep Table and Pad are available to facilitate mounting of the Foot
Pads onto the patient. The Prep Table may be mounted to the Patient Platform
by inserting the forked end of the Prep Table into the receiver located on the
underside of the distal end of the Patient Platform. Note that it may be necessary
to re-orient the Spars to provide sufficient room to mount the Prep Table.
Once inserted, the patient's feet may be moved onto the Prep Table. Place
each foot into the disposable Foot Pads. Wrap according to directions on the
Foot Pads.
Traction Boots:
The HDS Traction Boot (AR-6529-06) has a separate instruction for use. Refer to
these instructions for proper method to secure the foot inside the Traction
Boot.
Perineal Post:
Remove the Patient Prep Table, if attached. The HDS Perineal Post (AR-6529-
07) should be mounted on the operative side of the Patient Platform in the
exposed opening. To attach the Post, grab it by the collar located at the
bottom of the Post. Press the release button (Fig 13A) and push the collar
downward (Fig 13B). Engage the collar with the silver 'mount' located on the
