Attachingthe Side Mounted DischargeDeflector
WARNING:To prevent the engine from
starting, disconnectthe wire from the
spark plug.
For shipping purposes, the side deflector was not installed.
Locate the side deflector and install as follows.
1. Raise the mulcher cover (A, Figure 18).
2. Attach the side deflector (B). Make sure the locking tabs
(C) go through the slots in the side deflector.
3. Lower the mulcher cover (A, Figure 11).
4. Attach the wire to the spark plug.
