Caring for Wood Features
The ash wood used in this appliance has been designated as First and Second (FAS) grade lumber by the
National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA).
NOTE
• Keep the indoor humidity at 40 to 60% in the winter. In the winter, the dry indoor environment can cause
the wood to crack and gap.
• The surface of this appliance requires special care to maintain its appearance. Avoid scraping, impacts,
or repeated rubbing of the surface.
• The surface finishing and the grain may differ slightly on some models.
• Protect the wood surface from prolonged direct contact with wet or damp surfaces such as cold

odor which is normal and will fade over time.
