Problem
The wireless charging
is not working.
Possible Causes & Solution
The password for the Wi-Fi that you are trying to connect to is incorrect.
• Find the Wi-Fi network connected to your smartphone and remove it, then
register your appliance on LG ThinQ.
Mobile data for your smartphone is turned on.
• Turn off the Mobile data of your smartphone and register the appliance
using the Wi-Fi network.
The wireless network name (SSID) is set incorrectly.
• The wireless network name (SSID) should be a combination of English
letters and numbers. (Do not use special characters.)
The router frequency is not 2.4 GHz.
• Only a 2.4 GHz router frequency is supported. Set the wireless router to
2.4 GHz and connect the appliance to the wireless router. To check the
router frequency, check with your Internet service provider or the router
manufacturer.
The appliance is too far from the router.
• If the appliance is too far from the router, the signal may be weak and the
connection may not be configured correctly. Move the router so that it is
closer to the appliance.
Possible Causes & Solution
Charging more than one device or incompatible device.
• The wireless charging function can charge only one mobile device at a time.
• Make sure the mobile device is capable of wireless charging.
There are other objects on the wireless charging pad.
• Remove coins and other metal objects on the wireless charging pad. The
mobile device may not be charged if coins and other metal objects are on
the charging pad.
The mobile device is not centered on the wireless charging pad.
• Place the mobile device on the center of the wireless charging pad.
• Check the charging status on the screen of the mobile device.
• If the mobile device does not begin to charge after 3 - 5 seconds, place it on
the wireless charging pad again.
The mobile device is connected to a wired charger while wireless
charging.
• The mobile device cannot be charged with a wired charger and use the
wireless charging pad at the same time.
