@ TIMER mode/repeat play switch
(TIMER REC/OFF/PLAY-REPEAT)
REC: Set to this position to perform timer recording.
OFF: Set to this position under ordinary conditions (when not
using the timer or repeat functions)
PLAY-REPEAT:
Set to this position to perform timer playback.
When the
switch is set to this position during normal playback, repeat
playback of a single tape can be performed.
Power switch (POWER Ml OFF/
ON)
After pressing the switch, the WAIT message vit appear in the
counter display and the level meter scale will fiash for about
four seconds {the time necessary for circuitry to stabilize). When
the display is flashing, no operating buttons will respond, with
the exception of the cassette door OPEN/CLOSE button [ 4 }
To close the cassette door, do it while the power is turned on.
@ Function display
@ Return button (RETURN)
This button is used in the normal tape counter mode
to fast
forward or rewind the tape to 4 point near the counter reading
"0000".
. Counter mode button (COUNTER MODE)
Each time this button is pressed, one of the three modes (Normal
tape counter/Timer counter/Remaining time counter) is set in
sequence (see page 17).
(€ Counter reset button (COUNTER RESET)
Reset the counter indication to '0000" in the normal tape counter
or the time counter mode.
To indicate the correct time value in the remaining time counter
mode, this button must be set in accordance with the tape used
{see page 17).
72. Display off button (DISP OFF)
Press this button to turn off the function display.

DOLBY* NR button/indicators {OFF/B/C} {CT-S730}
Press to select the Dolby NR system in the toliowing order. The
selected indicator lights up.
For the CT-S830S:

When the DOLBY
NR button is set to OFF, the DOLBY NR
indicatars go off.

no utilice ei ternporizador ni las funciones de repeticin).

Cuando se pone en esta posicién durante la
reproduccion normal, puede efectuarse Ja repeticion de la
reproduccién de una misma cinta.
® Interruptor de Ia alimentacion (POWER Ml OFF/
ON)
Después de presionar el interruptor, aparece el mensaje WAIT
en el visualizador del contador y la escala de! medidor de nivel
parpadea durante unos cuatro segundos (el tiernpo necesario
para que se estabilice el circuito). Durante el tiempo que parpadea
el visualizador, no responderd ningun botén de operacién, a
excepcion del botén de OPEN/CLOSE del compartimiento del
casete { # ). Para cerrar el compartimiento del casete, hagalo
mientras la alimentacion esté conectada.
@ Visualizador de funciones
Boton de retorno de la cinta (RETURN)
Este boton se una en el modo de contador de la cinta normal
para el avance
rapido o rebobinado de la cinta hasta un pico
cercano 2 la indicacidn 0000" del contador.

Cade vez que se presiona este boton, se ajusta uno de fos tres
modos {contador de fa cinta normal/contador de tiempo/selector
_ . de capacidad de la cinta) en secuencia (vea la pagina 18).
© Boton de reposicién del contador (COUNTER RESET)
Reponga
la indicacion del contador de la cinta 3 "0000" en el
modo de contador de la cinta normal o modo de! contador de
tempo.
Para indicar el valor de tiempo correcto en el modo de contador
de tiempo remanente,
debe ajustarse este boton de acuerdo
con la cinta utilizada (vea la pagina 18).
@ Botén de desactivacién de visualizador (DISP OFF)
Presione este boton para desactivar el visualizador de funciones.

Presionelo pare seleccionar el sistema Dolby NR en el orden
siguiente. El indicador seleccionado se encenderé.

Cuando el boton DOLBY NR esté en OFF, los indicadores DOLBY
NR se apagarén.
