Erasure prevention tabs
The
recording
{@)
button
does
not work
when
the erasure
prevention tabs of the loaded cassette tape have been broken off
(see
page
6).
Do
not
press
the recording
(@) button
with
unreasonable force. When recording on both sides, make sure that
both tabs are intact.
1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE ( 4 ) button.
When the OPEN/CLOSE button is pressed, "OPEN" appears in
the counter, and the cassette door opens.
. Insert a tape for recording.
. Press the OPEN/CLOSE ( 4 ) button.
@ The cassette door closes and the reel automatically rotates to
take up tape slack (ATLC: Automatic Tape Loose Canceller).
® While the cassette door is open, pressing the playback ( » )
button, fast forward ( »e
) button, rewind ( << ) button,
recording ( @ ) button or pause ( If) button will close the
cassette door automatically, and the operation corresponding
to the button pressed begins.
4. Set the Dolby NR system by pressing the DOLBY NR button.
5. Prepare the audio source from which you wish to record.
Turn on the stereo amplifier and prepare it for playback of
the desired audio source.
6, If you use SUPER AUTO BLE tuning, press the SUPER AUTO
BLE button.
@ Wait approximately
10 seconds
until "TUNE"

@ The bias is adjusted automatically,
but when desired, you
may perform the adjustment manuaily by using the BIAS (-/+)}
buttons
after the SUPER
AUTO
BLE
tuning has been
completed.
® The tape will be forwarded after pressing SUPER AUTO BLE
so that recording will start from the recordable portion of the
tape. The operation is completed when the start position is
resumed.
To stop SUPER AUTO BLE tuning
To cance! SUPER AUTO BLE tuning (e.g. must record urgently),
press the stop ( ml) button.
To reset a tuned condition
Press the SUPER AUTO BLE button again,
Error display
If the old tape, the tape end or the leader (white
portion)
immediately prior to the tape end is reached during AUTO BLE
operation,
tuning becornes impossible. That means
recording
will stop immediately and the counter indicator will display the
following (flashing) message: "Err.
In this case, press the SUPER AUTO BLE button again to reset,
and record without SUPER AUTO BLE tuning.

Lengtietas de proteccién contra grabacién accidental
El boton de grabacion {@) no funciona cuando se han roto las
lengtietas de proteccién contra grabacion accidental del casete (vea
la pagina 6). No presione el botén de grabacién ( @) aplicando
fuerza excesiva.
Para grabar en armbas caras, asegurese de que
ambas lengétas esten intactas.
1, Presione el boton de OPEN/CLOSE
( 4}.
Cuando se presiona e! botén de OPEN/CLOSE, 'OPEN' aparece
en el contador, y se abre ei compartimiento del casete.
2. Inserte una cinta grabada.
3. Presione el botan de OPEN/CLOSE [ 4 }.
@ Cuando se cierra ef compartimiento del casete, el carrete gira
automaticamente y tensa la cinta (ATLC: cancelador automatico
de flojedades de la cinta).
@ Mientras el compartimiento del casete esta abierto, al presionar
el coton de reproduccidn { ® ), botén de avance rapido ( >
},
boton de rebobinado { «<4 }, botén de grabacidn ( @ }, o botén
de pausa (If) se cerrara automaticamente el compantimiento
del casete, y se iniciara la operacién correspondiente al botén
presionado.
4, Ajuste ef sistema
Dolby NR presionando el botén DOLBY
NR.
5. Prepare la fuente de sonido de la que desee grabar. Conecte
el amplificador estéreo y preparelo para reproducir fuente
de sonido deseada.
6. Si emplea el ajuste SUPER
AUTO
BLE, presione el botén
SUPER AUTO BLE.
@ Espere aproximadamente 10 segundos hasta que se visualice
"TUNE" en el indicador del contador y se encienda el indicador
(BLE DATA! (vea la pagina 27).
® La polarizacién se ajusta autormnaticamente,
pero cuando lo
desee,
podré efectuar el ajuste manualmente
usando
los
botones BMS (+/+) después de haberse completo el ajuste
SUPER AUTO BLE.
@ La cinta avanzara después de presionar SUPER AUTO BLE de
modo que fa grabacién se inicie desde !a parte que puede
grabarse de {a cinta.
La operacion se completa cuando se
reanuda fa posicion de inicio.
Para detener el ajuste SUPER AUTO BLE
Para cancelar el ajuste SUPER AUTO BLE (por ej., cuando debe
grabarse enseguida), presione el boton de parada ( m ).
Para reponer una condici6n ajustada
Presione de nuevo el boton SUPER AUTO BLE.
Visualizador de error
Si la parte del final de fa cinta o parte de guia (parte en blanca)
de antes de {a cinta, se alcanzar durante la operacién
AUTO
BLE, el ajuste sera imposible. Esto significa que la grabacién se
parara inmediatamente y el indicador del contador mostrara el
siguiente mensaje (parpadeando}: "Err'.
En este caso, presione el boton SUPER AUTO BLE otra vez para
la reposicion, y grabe sin el ajuste SUPER AUTO BLE.
