In this case,
you may
continue
recording
without
further
adjustments,
You
should
be aware,
however,
that slight
differences may exist between different tapes or lots of tapes
of the same brand and type. SUPER AUTO BLE tuning is capable
of compensating for even such minor differences.
As a result,
whenever
changing tapes, you will achieve flatter frequency
response by first pressing the SUPER AUTO BLE button to clear
the previous tape data (the [BLEDATA) indicator wil! go out), then
pressing the SUPER AUTO BLE button once again to repeat the
SUPER AUTO BLE tuning process.
u Using different brands or types of tape
When changing to a different brand or type of tape, load the
tape and press the SUPER AUTO BLE button to clear previous
SUPER
AUTO
BLE button once again to repeat the SUPER
AUTO BLE tuning process.
@ For example, after recording on a type | tape (the IBLE DATA}
indicator is lit}, if you switch to a type Il or 1V tape and atternpt
to begin recording, the (BLED)
and TYPE | indicators will
flash, warning you that you have changed tape types. If you
flash for about three seconds, after which it will go out and
the unit will revert to its factory-preset default settings.

For calibration purposes, signals are recorded on the tape during
the adjustment process, with the result that any previous sounds
on the tape at the starting position will be erased.

AUTO
BLE tuning is effective only at the time of
recording. Do not attempt to use it during playback (part of the
recorded tape will be erased).

During operation of the SUPER AUTO BLE tuning process, use
of the playback and fast forward functions is disabled.

The SUPER AUTO BLE tuning process is designed to precisely
adjust recording conditions to match a tape's bias, level, medium-
and high-range equalization, and super-high-range equalization.
As a result, several dozen seconds may be required in cases
where tape characteristics are extremely good or poor. This is
not a malfunction.

When using the SUPER AUTO BLE tuning function, use new
tapes whenever possible, When old tapes are used, adjustment
may be impossible, resulting in errors (Err' is displayed in the
counter display}. In this case, perform your recording without
using the SUPER AUTO BLE tuning function.

m Empleando cintas de marcas 0 tipos distintos
Cuando cambie de marca o de tipo de cinta, inserte la cinta y
presione
el boton SUPER
AUTO
BLE
para borrar los datos
anteriores de {a cinta (el indicador BEEDATA) se apagara), y luego
presionando otra verz el botén SUPER AUTO BLE para repetir el
proceso de ajuste de SUPER AUTO BLE.
e Por ejemplo, después de grabar una cinta del tipo | (el indicador
IBLE DATA! encendido), si cambia a una cinta del tipo Ilo Ve
intenta inicar la grabacién, los indicadores [BLEDATA] y TYPE |
parpadearan para indicarle que ha cambiado de tipos de cinta.
Si prosigue
