• To empty the used oil tank, use an Allen key to unscrew the screw shown in the figure below.
• Place the used oil container under the machine.
ATTENTION: Used oil shall be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
• Checking the oil level is possible through the window located on the gearbox.
Air outlet valve
There is an air outlet valve on the gearbox housing. It should be checked every 15 days to make sure
it is working properly.
CAUTION! A faulty valve will lead to an increase in oil temperature and may damage the machine.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Die / rollers get stuck or
clogged.
Pellets are not produced.
There is a burning smell, there
is smoke coming from the
device or it becomes very hot.

Possible cause
Wrong pellet mixture or a
wrong die for the mixture
Clogged die.
Action
Stop the machine and clean
the matrix/rollers and, if
necessary, modify the mix as
described in this manual (see
10530000) or reduce the
amount of mix applied at once
or choose the appropriate
matrix.
Clean the die and rollers.
Modify the pellet mixture and
use starch as a binding
material and / or reduce the
amount of material poured in
at once.
