Insufficient amount of pellets
produced.
Bent or cracked shaft (lever)
Roller jamming or jamming,
noise during roller operation.

Wrong composition of the
pellet mixture.
The bolts holding the shaft
(lever) are tightened too much.
Worn die and / or rolls
Damaged bearing or bearings
on rollers (insufficient bearing
maintenance).
Modify the mixture and make
sure that starch is used as a
binder.
Replace the damaged shaft
(lever) with a new one.
If a given side of the matrix is
less than 4 mm from the
rollers, the matrix must be
replaced. The service life of the
die is approx. 300 operating
hours - after this time, it must
be replaced.
Replace the bearings with new
ones. Lubricate them with
bearing grease before
installation.
