1. SAFETY
Read the user manual carefully before using your appliance for
the first time.
1.1 IDENTIFICATION OF THE WARNINGS
MEANING
DANGER
This term defines a high risk of danger, which
can lead to death or serious injury, if not
avoided.
WARNING
This term defines a medium risk of danger
that can lead to minor to serious injury, if not
avoided.
NOTICE
This term defines dangers to the machine and
its proper operation.
Warning of a general danger.
The danger is specified by indications given
in the table.
Warning about the dangers associated with
the electrical voltage and provides information
about protection against electrical voltage.
Warning of damage to the boat.
1.2 GENERAL
DANGER
Electrical hazards and risks of cuts.
Ö Never dismantle the appliance.
Ö Don't use your appliance if a cable or
connection plug is damaged.
Ö To avoid harms, repairs must be carried out
by an authorised person.
NOTICE
Ö Connection errors (observe the polarity) or
incorrect connection invalidates the warranty.
WARNING
Risk of cutting.
Ö Never touch moving parts.
Incorrect use or installation releases SFA from any liability.
For further information, don't hesitate to contact our customer

DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY,
BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY WORK ON THE UNIT.
2. DESCRIPTION
2.1 APPLICATION
Sanimarin® is a WC equipped with a pump/macerator to
remove the sanitary effluent.
Sanimarin® is for mobile unit use. The unit has a high
performance level, and is safe and reliable, provided all the
rules for installation and maintenance in this notice are strictly
followed.
Sanimarin® macerates and pumps effluents without disinfecting
them.
THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER
PURPOSE OTHER THAN DESCRIBED HERE.
2.2 OPERATING MODE
Sanimarin® combines :
- a macerator pump that grinds and drains the wastewater into
the black water tank
- and a solenoid valve that fills the bowl with clean water.
Sanimarin® is controlled by:
- a two-position switch (Comfort version),
- a pneumatic pushbutton (Plus version),
- an electronic button (Premium version),
- or a control panel (Luxe version).

3. INSTALLATION
DANGER
Ö Before you begin any work on this product,
make sure that:
- all electrical power to the unit has been
switched off
- and that the through-hull valves are in the
CLOSED or STOP position.
3.1 FIXING THE DEVICE
• Place the device and check that the location allows for the
correct hydraulic connections.
• Measure 15 mm from the outline drawn, position the brackets
and drill through the middle of the holes.
• Screw the brackets in place, leaving them loose, they will be
tightened once the bowl has been fitted.
Fit the bowl:
Note: Wait until all the connections have been made before
fixing the bowl definitively in place.
• Fix Sanimarin® securely using the screws provided.
• Your mountings must be appropriate for the base on which
the device is to be installed.
3.2 CONNECTING THE EVACUATION
IMPORTANT
Pollution risk.
Ö All boats built from 2008 onwards must be equipped
with a black water recovery tank. Blackwater tanks
must only be emptied into installations provided at
ports.
Ö Please check local legislation regarding discharge
from on board toilets- i.e. holding tanks etc.
DANGER
For units installed below the water line, the discharge
pipe should rise at least 50 cm above water level and
be fitted with an anti-syphon valve prior to falling and
discharging through the skin fitting.
A seacock should be fitted where the Sanimarin® discharges
through a skin fitting.
The device outlet is fitted with a non-return valve.
The outlet diameter is 38 mm (if necessary an adapter for
25 mm is provided in the accessory bag).
3.3 CONNECTING THE SEA WATER SUPPLY
First determine whether the sea water supply to the Sanimarin®
will be above or below the water-line, and then proceed with
the installation instructions.
• Connect the supply hose to a sea water pump (supplied as
an option) or to the pressurized fresh water circuit on board.
Provide a minimum pressure of 1.7 bar.
