process in progress. It is possible to interrupt cooking by pressing the STOP button at
any time, if the button panel is not locked, as shown by the icon
and described in
the following chapters; in this case, proceed to unlock the button to stop cooking with
the STOP button.
DRYER
The dryer (icon
) allows the dehydration of fruit, vegetables and mushrooms,
without starting a real cooking process: this allows you to extend the shelf life of these
foods, without compromising the organoleptic properties, as happens with the
refrigeration or freezing. The drying program may, in some cases, also constitute a
program suitable for cooking and preparing, for example, sun-dried tomatoes, energy
bars, salt substitutes, raisins, etc.
Once the program has been selected with the START button, as described above, the
only changeable parameter is the duration of the treatment, depending on the nature
and quantity of the food; by pressing the UP and DOWN buttons, it is possible to
increase or decrease it within the limits shown in the previous list, until the correct
time is reached. Press the START button to start the drying process, press the STOP
button to return to program selection.
During drying, the display alternately shows the temperature value (fixed at 45° C) and
the residual treatment time, starting from what was previously selected and
decreasing the display as time goes by: the icons
and
flash, giving an
indication of the process in progress. It is possible to interrupt drying process by
pressing the STOP button at any time, if the button panel is not locked, as shown by
the icon
and described in the following chapters; in this case, proceed to unlock the
button to stop cooking with the STOP button.
DEFROST
The appliance can be used to defrost frozen food before cooking, restoring the correct
humidity of the food. Once the program (icon
) has been selected with the START
button, as described above, the only modifiable parameter is the duration of the
treatment, based on the nature and quantity of the food; by pressing the UP and
DOWN buttons, it is possible to increase or decrease it, until the desired time is
