4. Cut the nylon straps securing the boxes and wheels (Fig. 3b).
5. Remove the battery, charger, attachment rack, seat and steering wheel with the dust cap (Fig. 3b).
6. Remove and set aside all accessible packaging and wrap material. Do not discard the packing material until you
have carefully inspected the product.
7. Remove both wheel chocks from in front of the wheels. You may need to use the supplied wrench to pry off the
chocks (Fig. 3b).
8. If a suitable full-width ramp is available, position it against the bottom frame, close to the front wheels. Do not
exceed the maximum recommend operating angle of 15°. The tractor can be removed from the frame without a
ramp. Two pieces of 2x4 lumber help reduce the "drop" from the bottom frame to the ground.
9. Press the parking-brake pedal to release it from the parking-brake position. A significant effort is required to release
the parking-brake pedal by hand. Push hard!
CAUTION: Heavy object. Team push required. At least two persons are required to push this tractor off of the
steel frame.
10. Grasp the rear corners and the areas around the seat of the tractor simultaneously on both sides and slowly push
the tractor off of the steel frame in the forward direction (Fig. 3b).
NOTICE: ONLY PUSH THE TRACTOR FORWARD. Pulling the tractor backward from the steel frame may cause
damage to the tractor's cutting deck. Always remove the tractor from the frame in the forward direction!
NOTICE: The tractor must be transported on the bottom frame at all times! Fork lift should never come in direct
contact with the tractor! Doing so may cause damage. We recommend to keep the bottom frame to facilitate the
transportation of the tractor later for service.
11. Cut the nylon strap securing the side discharge chute once the tractor is on the ground.
