OPERATION

You may use this product for the purpose listed below:

ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Before performing any adjustment, stop the tractor on a level surface and wait for the blades to come to a
complete stop. With the parking-brake lock lever pulled up, fully depress the parking-brake pedal to engage the parking
brake, then remove the safety key to avoid accidental starting and possible serious personal injury.
Adjusting the cutting-deck height (Fig. 10)
NOTE: EGO electric lawn tractor's deck is set in the highest cutting
height when it is shipped. Before using the tractor, the operator
should adjust the deck height to the cutting position best suited for
the lawn.
NOTE: To prevent scalping the lawn when encountering high spots,
the two anti-scalp wheels can be adjusted when the tractor is at the
desired cutting height. Depending on your desired cutting height,
you may need to change the position of the anti-scalp wheels.
Please refer to "Adjusting the anti-scalp wheels" section in this
manual.
1. Make sure that the batteries have been removed from the
tractor before making any adjustments.
2. Grasp the deck-height adjustment lever and move it inwards
to disengage it from the detent.
3. Move the lever forward to decrease the cutting height or backward to increase the cutting height. Engage the lever
into the detent when it arrives at the desired cutting height.
NOTICE: Prior to mowing, the deck should be adjusted to sufficient height to avoid stumps, rocks, or other obstacles that
can damage the tractor deck.
DANGER: Never attempt to make any adjustments to the tractor deck while the tractor is driving or the blade motors
are turned on. Tractor blades cannot be seen and are located very close to the deck housing. Fingers and toes can be cut
off instantly.
WARNING: Hold the deck-height adjustment lever firmly when setting the deck height and only release when it is
securely engaged in the desired detent. Quickly letting go of the lever may create a pinching or pulling hazard to the
operator's hand.
