4.2.1 Input and Output Connections
At the rear:
Control Unit: Mains, DU cable/CU cable, hot plate cable, temperature sensor cable,
air.
Drive Unit: Mains, DU/CU cable, wires.
4.2.2 Fuses

4.3 Installation Instructions
The installation should be performed by a service engineer authorised by FOSS An-
alytical AB.
The following text refers only to simpler installation operations and recommenda-
tions:
4.3.1 Fume Hood
Warning
The instrument must only be used in a fume hood which has the main power in-
terlocked to the airflow.
The instrument should be installed in such a way as to comply with the regulations
issued by the local authorities. The Extraction Unit must be installed in a well-venti-
lated fume hood (air flow at least 0.5 m/sec.). The Soxtec 2050 Control Unit and the
Soxtec 2050 Drive Unit are not intended for use in potentially explosive athmosphere
