Alarms
There are three functions in the alarm menu. High alarm, which causes the unit to go
into alarm condition when bath temperature goes higher than the alarm value. Low
alarm condition when bath temperature goes lower than the alarm value and Hold Off
Time, which is the user adjustable time of between 5 and 600 seconds that the alarms
are muted for after either button has been pushed to acknowledge an alarm condition.
If the bath returns to a value such that the alarm level is not exceeded the alarm will
cancel, However if the temperature remains outside of the alarm level the alarm
condition will re-occur after this hold off time. Each alarm will be shown on the display
and can be programmed to activate an audible buzzer and up to 2 relays. Alarms are
cancelled after either button is pressed during alarm or if alarm condition has been
removed.
On selecting Alarms in main menu with the navigation control, press "S" to enter alarm menu.
Rotate the navigation control to select required alarm function. Press "S" select

3.6.1. Hold off
On selecting Hold off the LCD display shows the edit hold off time menu. Rotate the
navigation control to select required alarm hold off time. Press "S" select. Pressing "F" will
return to Alarm menu with no change in value. Press"F" to return to main menu.
3.6.2. Set High/Low Alarm
On selecting High or Low Alarm the LCD display shows the alarm sub menu. Rotate the
navigation control to select:
Type: Deviation or fixed temperature. When Type: is displayed on the LCD pressing "S"
toggles the display (and alarm) between Deviation and Fixed temperature. The LCD display
flashes to indicate that the value can be changed. Deviation is the number of degrees
centigrade above the set temperature at which the alarm will operate. Fixed temperature is the
value, independent of the set temperature, at which the alarm will operate. The value can be
changed by rotating the navigation control.
Alarm ENABLE / DISABLE. Pressing "S" toggles the alarm (and display) between enabled
and disabled.
Latch: Pressing "S" toggles the display (and alarm) between Latch ON or OFF. When set to
ON the alarm remains ON if temperature returns to inside alarm level. It is cancelled after
either button is pressed during alarm if alarm condition has been removed.
