CARRYING HANDLES
See Figure 4.
For convenience when carrying or transporting the miter
saw from one place to another, a carrying handle has been
provided on top of the saw along with handle areas on either
side of the saw base. To transport, turn off and unplug the
saw, securely tighten the slide lock knob, then lower the
saw arm and lock it in the down position. Lock saw arm by
pushing the head lock pin in.
NOTE: DO NOT perform any cutting operation with the saw
in the locked position.
CROWN AND BASEBOARD SETTING LEVER
The crown and baseboard setting lever is helpful when
making miter cuts between 45° right and 45° left for tall
crown molding and vertical baseboard.
DEPTH CONTROL KNOB
See Figure 4.
The depth control knob is a guide for limiting downward
movement of the saw arm.
HEAD LOCK PIN
See Figure 4.
The head lock pin is used for locking the saw arm in the
down position.
ELECTRIC BRAKE
An electric brake quickly stops blade rotation after the switch
trigger is released.
EXTENDED MITER CAPACITY
See Figure 5.
Rotating extension tables allow for miter cuts up to 70°.
LED LIGHTING SYSTEM
The LED casts a shadow of the blade teeth onto the
workpiece for making precision cuts and predicts blade kerf
for blade cut line.
MITER LOCK LEVER
See Figure 5.
The miter lock lever securely locks the saw at the desired
miter angle. Push the lever down to lock the saw in place.
To release the saw, lift the miter lock lever and depress the
