CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the extractor hood before cleaning or servicing.
•
Clean the surface of the hood regularly. Use mild soap or detergent to clean
the hood.
•
Do not use aggressive alkaline solutions or abrasive cleaners.
•
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or dishwashing detergents.
•
The grease filter can be washed out with mild soap or a mild detergent.
(Heavy grease deposits may be difficult to remove and the filter may need to
be replaced).
•
The activated carbon filter cannot be cleaned and must be replaced regularly.
Note: The cleaning water must not penetrate into the electrical parts of the motor,
control switch, etc.
It is recommended to clean the metal filter every three months according to the
following instructions.
•
Remove the metal filter from the hood, wash it in a solution of water and a
neutral liquid detergent and allow it to soak.
•
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and allow to dry.
•
The metal filter may change colour after several cleaning processes. This is
not a reason for a complaint or for replacing the metal filter.
Inserting the non-return valve
Take the non-return valve in your hand, align it
with the opening in the housing, insert the non-
return valve and then turn it until the three tabs
click into place. The valve is now fully inserted.
