Common preparations for installing
or removing the circular saw blade
1.
Unlock the carriage by pulling the stopper pin,
then move the carriage to the raised position.
2.
Loosen the hex socket bolt holding the center
cover using the hex wrench. Then, raise the blade
guard and center cover.

Installing the circular saw blade
CAUTION:
Make sure to install the circular
saw blade so that the direction of the arrow on
the circular saw blade matches that on the blade
case. Failure to do so may result in personal injury
and cause damage to the tool and/or the workpiece.
1.
Complete the steps in the "Common preparations
for installing or removing the circular saw blade".
2.
Press the shaft lock to lock the spindle and use
the hex wrench to loosen the hex socket bolt clockwise.
Then remove the hex socket bolt and outer flange.

Mount the circular saw blade carefully onto the

inner flange. Make sure that the direction of the arrow
on the circular saw blade matches the direction of the
arrow on the blade case.

Install the outer flange and hex socket bolt.
Tighten the hex socket bolt (left-handed) counterclock-
wise securely using the hex wrench while pressing the
shaft lock.
