Installation of grease filters
- To install filters, follow these four steps. Fig. 11
- Insert the filter into the slots at the back of the kitchen hood.
- Press the button on the filter handle.
- Release the handle once the filter snaps into position.
- Repeat the operation to install all filters.
Charcoal filter - not included
The activated charcoal filter can be used to trap odours. Normally, the activated charcoal
filter should be changed every 3 to 6 months, depending on your cooking habits. The
installation procedure for the activated charcoal filter is as follows:
- Place the flange of the charcoal filter into the rectangular hole of the fan (according to
arrow B in figure 12).
- Push the other side of the charcoal filter towards the fan so that it lies flat, then press the
filter towards the fan.
- If you wish to remove the filter, press the filter lock, and remove it by turning it
anticlockwise.
NOTE:
- Make sure that the filter is properly blocked. Otherwise, it would loosen and cause
danger.
- When the activated charcoal filter is installed, the suction power is reduced.
Replacing the light bulb
Please note:
- The light bulb must be replaced by official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similarly
qualified technicians.
- Always disconnect the power supply before performing any operation on the appliance.
When handling the bulb, make sure that it has cooled down completely before any direct
contact with your hands.
- When handling the bulbs, hold them with a cloth or gloves to prevent sweat from coming
into contact with the bulb, as this may reduce the bulb life.
Note:
- Before changing the lights, make sure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
- Protect yourself from danger when changing lights, e.g., by wearing gloves.
Replacing the light bulb
- Remove the grease filter.
- Locate the junction box, unscrew the screws on the box cover, then remove the cover
(If there is a cable pressure plate pressing on the light cable, the plate needs to be
dismantled first). The junction box has versions a and b, depending on the different
