Setting the alarm (in standby mode) (DAB source is only available on MIC300DAB version)
1.
Once you have set the clock, you can set an alarm.
2.
"Alarm Setup" is displayed. Press the "▷" button to make your choice.
3.
Press < or > to set the current time, press ▷ to confirm. The minutes start flashing.
4.
Press < or > to set the current minutes and press ▷ to confirm.
5.
Press </> to adjust the alarm volume.
6.
Press </> to select the alarm source (buzzer, DAB, FM, CD, USB) and press ▷.
7.
Press </> to adjust the alarm duration. You can choose between 15, 30, 45 and 60
minutes. Press ▷ to confirm.
8.
Press </> to save the alarm settings.
Use
DAB radio mode (only on the MIC300IDABBT and MIC301IDABBT models)
Carefully deploy the telescopic aerial.
Press the POWER button to turn on the device, which will automatically switch to DAB
mode.
Automatic search
1.
Press the ≡ button to select "DAB MODE" (if the device is not already in DAB mode).
If this is the first time the device has been set to DAB mode, it will automatically begin
an automatic search for available stations. (Once the DAB mode has been used, the
device will automatically select the station that you were listening to before)
2.
Press the ▷/→ button to start the automatic search to find available stations. During the
search, a progress bar will be displayed to indicate how the process is progressing.
Manual search
1.
Press the ≡ button on the device to select "DAB MODE".
2.
Press the < or > button to select "Manual tune" and press the ▷/→ button to enter the
service menu.
3.
Press < or > to select the station you want. The signal strength will be displayed.
4.
Press MENU to exit the search.
5.
If no stations are found, make sure that the aerial is fully extended and test the
reception by carrying out another automatic search in a different location.
DRC (Dynamic Range Control) function
DRC or Dynamic Range Control is a technology used to hear quiet sounds more clearly in a
noisy environment.
1.
In DAB mode, press the < or > button to select "DRC". Press the ▷/→ button to display
"*" at the top right of the screen.
2.
Press MENU to confirm this setting. The display will return to normal.
