The screen is produced by the splicing process and the splice line has
some curvature due to the upper and lower tension, which does not affect
the projected image and is a normal phenomenon.
Flatness of the fabric:
•
The factory-set black drop may be extended by a maximum of 100 mm in
order to maintain the flatness and prevent the fabric from falling off the
shaft.

Touch the cloth with your fingers as seldom as possible. The material is
very sensitive and, due to its surface coating, can not be cleaned. This
is unavoidable due to the technology. Like all thermoplastics, the fabric
is naturally subject to material deformation as the material deforms with
decreasing or increasing room temperature. Slow temperature changes
that affect the product as a whole, such as those that usually occur in-
doors, are not a concern (e.g. as in the case of the change of seasons).
Make absolutely sure that the product, especially the extended fabric, is
not exposed to different temperatures at different points. This uneven
temperature effect would „chip" the material, since colder areas deform
differently than warmer areas, which would increase the likelihood of your
ultra-short distance projector showing distortions in the image (e.g. due to
sunlight, placed directly above a radiator, at air outlets or intakes of air of
any air-conditioning units, other heat-generating components such as AV
receivers, game consoles or computers).

Place the projection screen in the room in such a way that such tempera-
ture influences are not present. Even short temperature changes can lead
to deformation of the screen and may be irreversible.

Position heat-radiating devices so that these air currents do not affect the
screen!

Always place (or store) the projection screen absolutely horizontally and
level. Use a spirit level to check this. Not doing so can have a negative ef-
fect on the mechanics, flatness and service life.
