OPERATION LIMITS
See TAB. 1.
The assembly area must chosen in such away that the
maximum and minimum ambient temperatures, Ta, is
respected 0°C < Ta < 45°C ; R.H. < 85%.
The ECA cassette conditioners are powered with 1 ~ 230
V 50 Hz current and grounding, the line tension must
anyway remain within a tolerance of ±10% of the rated
value.
If the conditioner is operating continuously in cooling mode
inside a room with high relative humidity, condensate may
form on the air delivery. This condensate may be deposited
on the floor and other objects underneath it.
Heating with heat pump could cause creaking because of
the various heat dilations of the elements (plastics and
metals), this however does not damage the unit.
MAKE SURE THAT AIR FLOW IS DIRECTED CORRECTLY (GLA-R)
During summer operation the cold air flow from the appliance should never be directed towards occupants of the room.
Also during heating operation, direct currents of air, even though the relative temperature is higher than room temperature,
will cause a sensation of cold with consequent discomfort.
Position of the fins in heating operation opening 20°.
Position of the fins in cooling operation opening 10°.
When the fins are closed ventilation is permitted.

IF THE AIR CONDITIONER DOES NOT WORK
IF THE AIR CONDITIONER DOES NOT COOL ENOUGH
– Check if the air filter is clean.
– Check the temperature setting (read it on the display of
the remote control).
– Check if doors and windows of the room are closed.
– Check if there are too many people in the room.
– Check if there are unusual heat sources in the room (iron,
vacuum cleaner, etc.).
– Check if there are obstacles preventing the air to circulate
throughout the outdoor unit.
IT IS NORMAL:
– During cooling mode and dehumidification mode some
vapour can be produced outdoor.
– On heating mode (heat pump models) some steam may
come out of the outdoor unit during the defrosting cycle.
– A light hiss may be heard by the indoor unit.
– Air the room from time to time to avoid smells.
For anomalies don't hesitate, contact the aftersales service
immediately.
