informing the currently selected test mode, the current date and time.

grounding cables (check grounding for greater safety). Continue the
test by selecting the YES option.

8. The high voltage LED (red) will light on both the control unit and the
generation unit, informing you that the hipot will start the test (for
approximately 5 seconds) together with the audible warning on the
generating unit. When the high voltage LED start blinking, it indicates
that the test is already in progress.
9. After the end of the test, the safety LED keep flashing (indicating the
presence of high voltage in the test object) and the result LED will turn
on (green on success, or red on test failure).
The HP80KV considers TWO factors to consider a test as failing:
1º – If the test current exceeds the set value for the test;
2º – Insulation breakdown (spark).
CAUTION: Ensure that the test sample is fully discharged (safety LED
stop flashing) and grounded before removing the test leads.
