STARTING ENGINE

A - Fill fuel and chain oil tanks respectively,
and tighten the caps securely. (F7)
B – STARTING A COLD ENGINE
1. Move the switch to the ("I") position. (F8)
2. Pull out the air lever to the closed position (A). The
shutter will close and the throttle lever will remain
accelerated. (F9)
3. While holding the saw unit securely on the ground, pull
the starter rope vigorously. (F10)
Do not start the engine while holding the chain saw with
a hand. The saw chain may touch your body. It's very
dangerous.
4. When the engine makes a first attempt to start, push in
the air level to its original position (B) (normal work
position). If the engine does not start, pull the starting rope
again until the engine starts. (F9 and F10)
5. One the chainsaw is on, allow the engine to run at high
speed for a few seconds. Then release the accelerator by
pressing the accelerator trigger, leaving the chainsaw at
idle speed.
Air lever
Keep the chain clean and away from obstacles, since it
will begin to turn when the engine is functioning.
