Using the tools
The tools may be used with the Z™ cleaner either in the upright position,
or folded into the storage, or canister position.
The agitator will automatically turn off: (1) when the handle is in the
upright, storage position or (2) when the cleaner is in the canister position
(folded).
Suction to the tools can be reduced by pressing GENTLE BRUSH on the
control panel. For optimum use of the powered hand tool, GENTLE
BRUSH mode is not recommended.

B. Dusting brush use for carved furniture, table tops, books, lamps, light-
ing fixtures, venetian blinds, baseboards, shutters, and registers.
C. Powered hand tool use for upholstered furniture, carpeted stairs and
hard to reach places.
D. Crevice tool use in tight spaces, corners and along edges in such
places as dresser drawers, upholstered furniture, stairs, and baseboards.
E. Soft Touch™ floor brush use on hard surface floors.
F. Wands use to give extra length to the hose. They can be used with any
of the above tools.

Tools may be attached to the telescoping handle/wand or
directly to the hose (see Fig. 13).

behind the tool/cord storage compartment. Select the proper tool
