HR'S)' Slow-synchro Mode with Q
Red-eye Reduction
This mode is effective when taking pictures ol people
with an evening or nocturnal background. Flash and
slow shutter speed are effectively combined, so that
the flash illuminates the subject, and the slow shutter
speed captures the distant background.

• A slower shutter speed (max. approx. 1/2 sec.) is set
in this mode: be sure to use a inix>d to avoid camera
shake. Also, tell your subjed to keep still lor a
moment after the Hash has tired.

- The red-eye reduction fuocUon operates in this mode.
• In certain shooting situations, 'Auto dash' mode may
be more effective for shooting. We therelore
recommend you lake pictures in both 'Slow-synchro*
and 'Auto flash" modes.
