3.6 First use: important information
Note
◊ It may happen that the product appears to have crack lines. This
is not a crack in the ceramic. It is a normal process due to expansion from
heat and does not affect the performance or life of the product. Therefore, it
cannot be claimed as a warranty issue.
ATTENTION!
◊ When lighting the product for the first time, make sure it heats up
gradually. Otherwise, the ceramic may be damaged.
1. Make sure the product is stable on a non-flammable surface with at least 2
meters away from other materials.
2. Place rolled newspaper with some firelighters on the coal rack.
3. Place 2 or 3 handfuls of charcoal over the top of the newspaper. Do not put too
much fuel: If the fire is too intense when first used, it may damage the product.
4. Open the lower ventilation grate and light the newspaper with a long lighter or
special matches.
