Scope of application

The ZD 7MF1580 series measuring transducer is a parameterizable pressure trans-
mitter used for measuring the relative pressure and absolute pressure of gases, liq-
uids and steam. It is used in power supply systems, in mechanical engineering, in
water supply installations and so on. It is equipped with an integrated digital display
for displaying a pressure variable at the place where the transmitter is installed.

Design

The pressure transmitter consists of a thin-film measuring cell with a ceramic dia-
phragm, an electronics board and a digital display, all accommodated within a stain-
less-steel housing.
The pressure transmitter has a stainless-steel process connection:
G1/2A (external thread) or G1/8A (internal thread) or
G1/2A to DIN EN 837-1 or
1/2 –14 NPT.
The electrical connection takes the form of a plug connection (DIN EN 175301-803A)
with an M16 x 1.5 cable entry.
