Replacing the light bulb
-
Turn the appliance off (preferably, turn it off at the power circuit breaker) and wait until it
cools down. (Be careful, the bulbs can reach very high temperatures during use).

Remove the bulb by holding it firmly and turning it counterclockwise. To do this, hold it
firmly and turn it counterclockwise.

Take a new bulb and put it carefully into the lamp holder. Screw it clockwise.

Turn the power supply on again and switch the lamp on.
Important
This fan uses 1 E27 / Max bulb. 60 W (not included)
Cleaning
-
Unplug the fan and allow it to cool down before cleaning it.
Never immerse the fan in water or other liquids.

Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
-
Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
Do not allow water to come into contact with any of the electrical parts of the appliance.

Do not use a wet cloth to clean the motor. Keep the fan clean and store it in a dry place to
avoid moisture if you're not going to use it for some time.
We recommend using neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents, acid
-
detergents, petrol, alcohol, etc. to clean the plastic parts, as they may be damaged.

Do not allow water to enter the motor or touch the cable during cleaning.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
If the fan does not turn on:
-
Check the fuses or circuit breakers at the electric panel.
-
Check the fan cables.
Warning: make sure the main supply is off
-

Make sure that the commutator is firmly in position. The fan will not work if the switch is
in the middle position.
If the fan does not work, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. Do
-
not try to repair the internal electric connections.
If the fan makes a lot of noise:
-
Check that all screws on the motor housing are properly fixed (do not overtighten them).
Check that the screws fixing the blade bracket are tight enough.

Allow the fan to run for 24 hours. Most of the noises produced by the fan will disappear
after this time.
