HOLDING/CARRYING THE EQUIPMENT
To prevent overloading the camera bayonet with the slightly heavier lens, please
remember the following:
– In the case of freehand shots, always hold the combination of camera and
lens with both hands, i.e. with one hand under the lens.
– When carrying the equipment with just one hand, always hold the equipment
by the lens.
USE OF THE TRIPOD ADAPTER
For the same reason, when taking shots with a tripod you should always use the
tripod adapter supplied:
1. Align the lens and adapter to each other and attach them so that the
locating pin is sitting in the fitting groove and
2. screw the adapter tight using the toggle.
Important:
Directly mounting on a tripod using the lens thread is not permitted!
