SURROUND
Dolby Pro Logic Surround
Set to this position for video and music sources (especially sources

bearing the marks).
Dolby Pro Logic Surround continuously detects the size and direc-
tion of signals.
As a result, the position of the sound source becomes clear, enabling
reproduction of natural sound flow.

When Dolby Pro Logic is ON, pressing the CENTER MODE button will switch the mode as follows.

Same system as the Dolby Pro Logic Surround except that SUR-
ROUND speakers are not installed. SURROUND speaker signals are
played back by the FRONT speakers, enabling better reproduction of
surround effects and depth than with normal stereo playback.
