TROUBLESHOOTING
Incorrect operations are often mistaken for trouble and malfunctions. If you think that there is something wrong with this component, check the points
below. Sometimes the trouble may lie in another component. Investigate the other components and electrical appliances being used. If the trouble cannot
be rectified even after exercising the checks listed below, ask your nearest PIONEER authorized service center or your dealer to carry out repair work.
Symptom
¶ The power plug is disconnected from the outlet.
The power does not
turn ON.
¶ Due to effects of static electricity when the air is

¶ Change the FM antenna to an outdoor

¶ Select the direction and position with
the best reception state.
¶ Connect the AM outdoor antenna. (P13)
¶ Turn off the equipment which cause
noise or move them away from the unit.
¶ Distance the antenna from the equip-
ment which cause noise.
¶ Select the correct center mode. (P.18)
¶ Raise the level.(P.18)
¶ Connect (P.14, 15)
¶ Replace the batteries. (P.7)
¶ Operate within 7m and 30 deg. from the
left and right of the remote sensor.
¶ Remove the obstacle or operate from
somewhere else.
¶ Avoid direct exposure of the remote
sensor to the light.
