. Operating the air fryer
WARNING!
Risk of fire!
Cooking oil and other liquids can catch fire as a result of
the high temperatures.
Do not fill the fryer drawers (15/18) with fat or cook-
ing oil as you would with a conventional fryer. Add
only the appropriate small amount of cooking oil to
the food, depending on the recipe.
Do not overfill the fryer drawers. We recommend fill-
ing the fryer drawers (15/18) only 75% full for ease of
use.

Risk of injury!
There is a risk of injury due to burning on hot surfaces.
The touchable surfaces on the appliance and accesso-
ries may become hot during operation.
Use oven gloves.
Pull the fryer drawers (15/18) out of the appliance.
Fill the fryer drawers with the food. For more information on the recommend-
ed fill levels, see the tables in section '8.2. Setting an automatic programme' on
page 192 and '8.5. Recommended settings' on page 195.
Hold the fryer drawers firmly by the handles (2/5) and push them from the front
until they are completely inside the appliance and click into place.
