With all further connected devices with serial communication (e.g. burettes for rinsing the viscosity
meters) the following must be adjusted as communication parameter:
Baud: 4800
Data bit: 7
Stop bits: 2
Parity: No
2.2.2 Dismantling
Please switch off the basic/controller unit first! Prior to dismantling or replacing this
functional unit, please make sure that the mains plug is pulled off of the mains socket!
To dismantle or replace the ViscoPump III module, please proceed as follows:

Remove the pneumatic and electrical connections from the front panel of the ViscoPump III
module to be replaced.

Loosen the screws located at the corners of the front panel.

Use the upper and lower insertion handles to leverage the ViscoPump III module out of its
rear-side plug connection.

Pull the ViscoPump III module out of the AVS 470 Viscosity Measuring Unit.

After inserting the new ViscoPump III module, please secure it again with the screws
of the front panel. Re-establish the electrical and pneumatic connections.
