Intended use
Geberit Mapress pressing collars and adapter
jaws are intended exclusively for pressing Geberit
Mapress system pipes and pressfittings.
Geberit recommends using Geberit Mapress
pressing collars and adapter jaws in the following
pressing tools only:
• Geberit pressing tools that carry the same
compatibility mark
Mapress pressing collar.
• Pressing tools from other manufacturers that
have been approved by Geberit for processing
Geberit Mapress system pipes and pressfittings.

Other pressing tools have not been tested by
Geberit in terms of their suitability for the Geberit
Mapress pressing collars and adapter jaws. Using
pressing tools with excessive press capacity can
significantly reduce the service life of the pressing
collars and adapter jaws.
