General safety instructions
WARNING:
instructions that follow before you use the
product.
•
Read this operator's manual and the operator's
manual for the demolition robot.
•
You must read and understand the 2 operator's
manuals before you operate the product.
•
Use personal protective equipment. Refer to
Personal protective equipment on page 8 .
•
Keep in mind that the operator is responsible for
accidents or hazards occurring to other people or
their property.
•
Keep the product clean to make sure that you can
clearly read signs and stickers.
•
The product can be a dangerous tool if used
incorrectly or carelessly, which can cause serious
injury or death.
•
Make sure that the product is compatible with the
demolition robot. Refer to
13 .
•
Make sure that the product is correctly installed and
safely attached to the demolition robot.
•
Do not operate the product unless you receive
training before use. Make sure that all operators
receive training.
•
Do not do modifications to this product. Modifications
that are not approved by the manufacturer, can
cause serious injury or death.
•
Do not operate the product if it is possible that other
persons have done modifications to the product.
•
Do not use the product if you are fatigued, while
under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medicine
or anything that can have a negative effect on your
vision, alertness, coordination or judgement.
•
Do not use the product if it is damaged.
Work area safety
•
Look out for bystanders, objects and situations that
can prevent safe operation of the product.
•
During operation, no person is permitted in the work
area. This applies to bystanders and the operator.
•
Cordon off the work area.
•
Increase the work area when you do work at a
height. Cordon off the risk area at ground level.
Make sure that no materials can fall down and cause
injury.
•
Keep the work area sufficiently illuminated.
•
The product can be operated by a remote control for
long distances. Do not operate the product unless
you have clear view of the product and its risk area.
Use a camera system if the view is not sufficient.
•
Clear the work area of obstacles.
•
Be careful when there is a risk of slippery surfaces.

Do a check of the ground conditions and the support
structures to make sure that materials, equipment
and bystanders cannot fall.
•
Do not use the product in areas where fire or
explosions can occur.
•
Make sure that no pipelines or electrical cables are
in the material to be cut. Make marks where the
pipelines and electrical cables are in the work area.
•
Make sure that there is no flow in the pipelines in the
work area. Make sure that the electrical cables in the
work area are disconnected. The product must not
come near power lines in the air.
Hydraulic safety
WARNING:

Make sure that the hydraulic hose connections are
tight and that there is no oil leakage.
•
Be careful when you tighten the hydraulic
connections. If you tighten the hydraulic connections
too much, it can cause damage to the O-rings.
•
Make sure that the hydraulic hose connections are
clean and in good condition.
•
Pressurized hydraulic oil is dangerous and can
cause serious injury. Do not look for an oil leakage
when the hydraulic system is pressurized.
•
Be careful when you fill the product with hydraulic oil.
The hydraulic oil is flammable. If you spill hydraulic
oil, clean the surface.
•
Only fill the product with hydraulic oil in a location
with good airflow.

Only do the maintenance that is given in this
operator's manual. Let an approved service agent do
all other servicing.
•
Clean the product to remove dangerous material
before you do the maintenance.
•
Let the product become cool before you do the
maintenance.
•
Do the maintenance of the product on stable level
ground.
•
Do not do modifications to the product. Modifications
that are not approved by the manufacturer can
cause serious injury or death.
•
Replace damaged, worn or broken parts.
•
Always use original accessories and spare parts.
