Before starting to use the coffee maker, check that all accessories are complete and that
the unit is not damaged. Check all parts and understand their functions. It is recommended
to keep the original packaging for future use. Then follow the operations as shown below:
1. Before using the coffee maker for the first time, remove the water tank from the coffee
maker and rinse it with clean water.
2. Check and make sure that all removable parts are properly installed in their correct po-
sition.
3. Remove the sealing plug at the bottom of the water tank.
4. Fill the water tank to the maximum mark, then reassemble it properly into the appliance
and close the water tank cover.
5. Remove the cover from the top of the coffee maker where the bean container and grind
adjustment knob holder are located. Select the grind setting you want by turning the knob
clockwise.
NOTE: When using the coffee machine for the first time, it is suggested that you select a
grind setting higher than setting 8. Adjustable grind settings range from 1 (finest) to 15
(coarsest), the number on the grind adjustment knob pointed by the arrow is the actual
selected grind setting.
6. Installation and removal of steam wand:
• Align the steam hose with the hose connector and then push it upwards.
• Turn the steam tube counterclockwise to fix it in its correct position.
• Align the stainless steel tube with the steam tube, push upwards to fix it securely in
position.
• If you wish to remove the steam wand, carry out the above operations in reverse to sepa-
rate the tube and the wand.
7. Adjust the height of the coffee spout by raising or lowering the front coupling of the cof-
fee spout. The adjustable height ranges from 85mm to 115mm.
8. Adjust the angle of the steam wand. The steam wand angle adjustment ranges from 0°
to 42°.
9. Processing unit:
• Open the cover on the side of the coffee maker and check that the processing unit is
properly installed in its correct position.
• Check that the arrow displayed on the coffee maker aligns with the arrow on the unit.
• You will hear a click, this will indicate that the assembly is correct.
• The warning indicator
• Once installed, replace the side cover of the coffee maker. If the lid is not closed correct-
ly the warning icon
10. Placement of the waste storage tank.
• Open the side door of the coffee maker and check if the waste storage tank is installed
in place.
• If the inner tank is not installed correctly in its position, the warning indicator
flash and the machine will not be able to operate.
11. Place the drip plate on the drip tray of the coffee maker. The drip plate must be installed
in its correct position so that a cup of coffee can be placed on it. Then insert the drip tray
into the front of the coffee maker.
