By hand:
Soak the metal grease filters in hot soapy water.
Clean the filters with a brush and then rinse them
thoroughly.
Leave the metal grease filters to drain.
Note: You can use a special degreaser to remove
stubborn dirt. This can be ordered via the online shop
(product no. 00311297). Spray the dirty metal grease
filters with the degreaser and leave it to work for up to
five minutes. Then rinse thoroughly. Observe the
instructions for use supplied with the cleaning product.

Installing the metal mesh grease filter

Push the two parts of the filter back together.
Ensure that the opening on the edge is in the
correct place.

Push the metal mesh filter in completely.

With the lock facing towards the front, place the
metal grease filter in the underside of the appliance
and engage the lock.
Note: When pushing the filter in, make sure the
lock engages. Otherwise, the metal grease filter
can fall and damage the cooktop.

Press the
button.
The saturation indicator is reset.
Changing the activated charcoal filter
(only in circulating-air mode)

Risk of injury!
Risk of falling while changing filter. Use a stable
stepladder.
To guarantee the degree of odour removal, you must
change the activated charcoal filter regularly.
In the case of limited or occasional use: Change the
activated charcoal filter after 18 months at the latest or
if odours are present in the emergent air.
In the case of daily or heavy use: Change the activated
charcoal filter after 12 months at the latest or if odours
are present in the emergent air.
Notes
The activated charcoal filters are included in the
scope of supply for the AA 442 810 recirculating-air
set. Additional activated charcoal filters can be
obtained through specialist retailers, after-sales
service, or the online shop using the part number
AA 442 110 (pack of two filters).
Always change both activated charcoal filters.
The activated charcoal filters cannot be cleaned or
activated again.
Dispose of used active charcoal filters with your
household waste.
Proceed as follows:

Open the lock on both protective grids and remove
the protective grids.

Remove the old activated charcoal filter.
3
Insert the new activated charcoal filters.
4
Insert the protective grids.
