Warnings before ignition
Please remember that appliance installation, first ignition, main-
tenance and repairs must be performed by qualified personnel.
Before turning on the appliance, proceed with suitable checks:
- Ensure the gas system seal is good (according to current regu-
lations)
- Make sure mains data match those stated on the data plate
- Make sure the installation meets current local regulations
- Check the type of gas set for appliance operations on the serial
plate
- Make sure the flue meets current regulations
- Make sure the system pipes are free of residue, slag or dirt
- Check connections with the electrical mains, L-N polarity and
grounding connections
- Check the mains pressure as indicated in the next paragraph.
Checking the system pressure (minimum sup-
ply pressure) (only for gas natural water heater)
- Unplug the water heater
- Removing the casing by unscrewing the fastening screws locat-
ed on the bottom of the water heater and detaching the casing
from the upper part (fig. 22 pag. 62)
- Remove the cover that closes the service inlet (located on the
shelf) and insert through the hole the silicon pressure gauge
tube
- Loosen by approximately two turns the screw of the pressure
tap upstream of the gas valve and connect the pressure gauge
to it (fig. 11 pag. 61)
- Carefully close the casing
- Use
to increase the water temperature at the maximum
value, the symbol
flashing for 5 seconds and the display
shows the new temperature
- Electrically connect the water heater
- Open a hot water valve to full capacity
Check the gas pressure referring to the values indicated in the
data table. If the pressure is higher than 15 mbar, calibrate the
gas valve.
During measurement a tolerance of +/-0.5 mbar is permitted.
- Close the hot water tap
- Disconnect the pressure gauge and tighten the pressure tap
upstream of the gas valve.

Gas conversion
The gas conversion can be easily performed even while it is
mounted.
The instructions for transforming and regulating the product to
receive various types of gas are below.
This operation must be performed by qualified personnel
according to law in force.
Disconnect the omni-polar switch outside the water heater and
close the gas and water valves to the appliance.
- Remove the casing by referring to the specific paragraph
For LPG conversion: place the plate on the collector as

shown in fig. 12 pag. 61
- Remove the clip (detail E fig. 13 pag. 61)
- Disconnect and remove the gas pipe (detail F fig. 13 pag. 61)
- Turn the screws showed in fig. 14 pag. 61 and lower the plate
- Turn the collector fixing screws
- Extract the gas collector (fig. 15 pag. 61) and replace it
- Reposition the components that had previously been removed
Change parameters 02 and 13 (Gas type)
To select the type of gas it is necessary to set parameters
02 and 13
Start-up the appliance and access in the Parameters menu :
- With water heater powered on, hold down at the same time the
buttons
and
the symbol
- Release the buttons
- Enter the code
Having entered the "SERVICE MENU" it is possible to select the
Relevant submenu:

If the code is incorrect or if the time set for the operation expires,
the appliance automatically returns to the stand/by or operating
status.
