Cool down funktion
If the device is switched off after use and
remains plugged into the outlet, it automati-
cally starts the cool down function. The unit
is cooled down to 50 °C. The LCD display
flashes blue during the cool-down function.
You can end the process by pressing the
"COOLDOWN" button.
Use as a floor-mounted
appliance
You can use the device as a floor-mounted
appliance. For this purpose, place the de-
vice on the two bases (11).
Ensure stability and safety and a heat-
resistant surface.
The position as a floor-mounted appli-
ance is also ideally suited to allowing
the device to cool down after use.
Use of adapter nozzles
Before exchanging adapter noz-
zles, the adapter nozzle (7/8/9/10)
and blow-off pipe (1) must be suffi-
ciently cooled down to avoid burns.
Various uses are possible. Always
comply with the safety instructions
and always handle the device with
care and caution.
Restrictor
Place the restrictor (10) on the blow-off
pipe (1).
Use the restrictor (10) to obtain selective
heat.
When using the restrictor (10), pay
particular attention to the heat
development at the cutting point. If in doubt,
do not stay in the same place for too long in
order to avoid overheating the workpiece.
Surface nozzle
Place the surface nozzle (8) on the blow-off
pipe (1).
Use the surface nozzle (8) to obtain heat
over a large surface.
When using the surface nozzle (8),
pay particular attention to the heat
development in adjacent locations of the
cutting point. So that in cases of doubt, no
adjacent component is overheated.
Spatula nozzle
Place the spatula nozzle (9) on the blow-off
pipe (1).
The spatula form of the nozzle serves the
purpose of the targeted hot air supply to
paint and lacquer surfaces. The paints and
lacquers must be removed with a spatula.
The spatula (9) itself is not suitable for re-
moving paint.
Grill lighter nozzle
Place the grill lighter nozzle (7) on the
blow-off pipe (1).
Change the device with the step switch
(
5) to level "II". Place the grill lighter
nozzle (7) below the charcoal. Make sure
that the openings of the grill lighter nozzle
(7) are not covered by charcoal as this cre-
ates heat accumulation in the unit, which is
a potential fire hazard In just a few minutes
the charcoal is ignited.
