TUNER Select the desired USER BAND

USER DEFINED
You can set a band frequency of
your choice here using the virtual
keyboard. This option can only
be edited if you have previously
selected USER DEFINED under
BAND FREQUENCY.
 If necessary, you can now configure satellite settings
for the relevant satellite:

6.8.1. AV
The AV transmission (composite) works via three cinch
connections, of which one transmits the video signal (yel-
low) and two transmit the stereo audio signal (red/white).
Use a standard AV cable.
 Connect the AV output of the playback device with the
AV input of the TV.
6.8.2. HDMI
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an inter-
face for digital video and audio transmission. It has the
highest quality of transmission and can also play Ultra HD
resolution, from version 2.0. Use a standard HDMI cable:
 Connect the corresponding HDMI ports of the devices
used with an HDMI cable.
6.8.3. HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel)
If you want to use a TV set as a signal receiver AND signal
source (to transmit an audio signal to an audio receiver),
you must use the HDMI2 port with audio return channel
(ARC). The HDMI connection to the TV then works in both
directions. It can receive image and sound signals from a
video device and the audio signal of the TV set can also be
button to sent to the audio receiver via the audio return channel.
 Connect the video device (e.g. Blu-ray player) to the
audio receiver via HDMI.
