 Inspect the screen in the water intake.
 If the screen is damaged, do not use the machine until
the screen has been replaced.
 If the screen is dirty, clean it before connecting the garden
hose to the machine.
To connect the garden hose to the machine:
 Completely uncoil the garden hose or remove completely
from reel to prevent kinks.
NOTE: There must be a minimum of 10 feet of unrestricted
hose between the pressure washer intake and the hose
faucet or shut off valve (such as a "Y" shut off connector).
 With the hose faucet turned completely off, attach the
end of the garden hose to the water intake. Tighten by
hand.
NOTICE:
Do not run the pressure washer without water supply
connected and turned on, as this may damage the high
pressure seals and decrease pump life. Completely
unwind the hose from its reel or coil and make sure the
hose is not being restricted by tires, rocks, or any other
objects that may lessen or prevent water flow to the
pressure washer.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with the product to make you
careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second
is sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to
comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in
objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible
serious injury.
ASSEMBLY
CONNECTING THE WATER TANK TO THE
PRESSURE WASHER (IF USING WATER
TANK)
See Figures 6 - 7.
A 5 gal. water tank is provided to allow the pressure washer
to be used when no water faucet is nearby or whenever por-
tability is desired. When using the water tank, approximately
5 minutes use is available per full tank of water. For additional
run time, you must refill the tank with clean water as needed.
To install the water tank:
 Verify the water tank valve is closed securely.
 Unscrew the cap from the top of the water tank and fill
the tank with clean water. Reinstall the cap and tighten
securely.
 Move the pressure washer and filled water tank to the
location where the tank will be used. Securely position the
tank at least 20 in. higher than the pump on the pressure
washer.
NOTICE:
To prevent damage to the water tank, do not drag the
filled tank to the desired use location.
 Inspect the screen in the pressure washer's water intake
to be sure it is in place and unclogged.
 Install the tank adaptor into the water intake. Tighten
securely.
 Install the water tank hose onto the adaptor.
 Open the valve on the water tank.
 Remove the cap from the top of the water tank.
