AUTOMATIC BUTTONHOLE
Using buttonhole foot
Your machine offers you two different widths of
bartack, keyhole and round end buttonholes sewn
by a system that measures the size of the button and
calculates the size of buttonhole required. All of this is
done in one easy step.
Procedure
• Use an interfacing in the area of the garment where
buttonholes are placed. Stabilizer or regular
interfacing can be used.
• Make a practice buttonhole on a scrap of the fabric
you are using. Then try the buttonhole with the
selected button.
1. Select one of buttonhole patterns.
2. Replace the presser foot with the buttonhole foot
(1). (Refer to " Changing presser foot" on page 35).
3. Insert the button into the buttonhole foot. (Refer to
"Using buttonhole foot" above.)
4. Lower the buttonhole lever (C) so that it drops down
vertically between the stoppers (A) and (B).

Utilizando o pé-calcador para casas
A máquina oferece duas formas diferentes de largura
da presilha para casas de botão e redondas, cosidas
através de um sistema que mede o tamanho do botão
e calcula o tamanho necessário para a casa. Tudo isso é
feito numa única etapa.
Processo
• Marque a posição e a largura da casa sobre a peça
de roupa.
• Faça um teste num pedaço de pano. Depois,
experimente a casa com o botão seleccionado.
1. Seleccione um dos modelos das casas.
2. Mude o pé-calcador para o das casas (1) (Ver " Mudar
o pé-calcador" na página 35).
3. Coloque o botão na parte inferior da casa (Ver "usar
o pé-calcador para casas" acima).
4. Baje la palanca del ojal (C) haciéndola coincidir
verticalmente entre los topes (A) y (B).
